A scooter is the easiest way to get around Bali. You can reach beaches, cafes and temples on your own schedule, and parking is simple almost everywhere. Renting one is straightforward too, as long as you arrive with the right documents and know what to check before you ride away.

What you need to rent

Make sure your IDP covers motorcycles. A licence or permit that only covers cars is not enough to ride a scooter legally, and police checks on visitors are common in tourist areas. If you are unsure about your documents, ask before you book.

How long can you rent for?

At Rikent the minimum rental is 2 days. You can rent by the day, week or month, and longer rentals have a lower daily rate. If your plans are not fixed, it is usually easier to book a shorter period and extend over WhatsApp than to guess a long one up front.

Delivery and handover

We deliver free in Kuta, Legian and at Ngurah Rai Airport, so you can have the bike waiting when you arrive instead of taking a taxi to a rental shop. At handover, take a few minutes to:

Choosing the right scooter

For couples or solo riders staying around Kuta and Seminyak, a Honda Beat or Scoopy is light, easy to park and economical. If you plan longer rides, carry luggage or ride with a passenger for hours, a Yamaha NMAX or Honda ADV 160 is more comfortable. Current prices for every model are in the pricing section.

Paying and getting help

You can pay online on the booking page (QRIS or bank transfer through a payment link) or pay cash at handover. If anything goes wrong on the road, message us on WhatsApp. We are available 24 hours and can swap the bike or send help to your location.

Want data from the moment you land?

You can add a Bali eSIM to your booking, so maps and messages work as soon as you leave the airport.
